Ferrari3D (2008)
I originally made this for my course in Advanced 3D in 2005, but years later I came back to it and made several improvements.
Ferrari3D is a simple (and poorly named) racing game, in which you can race against the clock or against other cars. These other cars can be controlled by AI or by other players. Multiplayer races can be played in split-screen, on a local network, or on the internet. Track records are stored online. If desired, new cars and circuits can be created using the editor. Ferrari3D supports Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.
Ferrari3D has been downloaded by over 4500 people, and has been mentioned by several websites, including Java Game Tome, Mac Game Files, Coke And Code, MacGames Japan, and Softpedia.
