In recent years there has been an explosion in the usage of Flash for embedding videos within websites. Because there is no standard video player every website is forced to create their own, with a custom design and custom functionality.
This player has all the usual features, such as play/stop/pause buttons, a timeline, a volume bar and fullscreen mode. The player is capable of playing both regular FLV videos as well as YouTube videos. Parameters can be used to enable or disable autostart, the controlbar can be hidden, and the color scheme can be changed.
This video player has evolved into a product that is now being developed by Colorize.
